Jenny Dell, a popular sideline reporter for CBS Sports, has been taking some prominent steps this year.
The wife of former MLB infielder Will Middlebrooks has worked the sideline for the Big Ten on CBS, calling some prominent games. She also landed a role with the NCAA Tournament this year. Dell, 39, worked the NCAA Tournament "First Four" games in Dayton, Ohio, which featured some big-time results, including Miami (Ohio) advancing into the Round of 64.
Dell, who has a big-time following on social media, has more than 100,000 followers on Instagram. She'll likely see that number continue to jump heading into football season.

Dell, who got her start on NESN in the Boston, Massachusetts area, broke a popular outfit rule on the air this week.
The NCAA Tournament sideline reporter wore an all-white outfit. Dell, who is known for her coverage of college football and college hoops, rocked an all-white outfit, which is a no-no in the fashion world before Memorial Day.
Fashion experts say the hard "rule" is that you can only wear white in between Memorial Day and Labor Day - summer months, essentially.
But Dell "broke" the rule and isn't apologizing for it.
"Good thing I don’t ALWAYS follow the rules… 🤍," she wrote.
Dell rocked the all-white outfit in an event with the Patriots, too
Dell chose to rock the all-white outfit before Memorial Day while covering an event for the New England Patriots, too.
"Such a fun day at Gillette 💙," she added.
"Hosted the Patriots Draft Preview Event in front of 1,600 incredible fans — and the energy was unreal."
Dell will be back on the air in a big way with the Big Ten on CBS this fall, as Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State and others go for a national title.
