The Los Angeles Dodgers, winners of the past two World Series, begin their 2026 postseason run Saturday when they host the Atlanta Braves in Game 1 of the National League Division Series (4 p.m. ET, Fox).
The Dodgers finished 100-62 this season, earning a first-round bye with the second-best record in the National League. The Braves won the NL East, then needed three games to eliminate the Philadelphia Phillies in the wild-card round.
Superstar Shohei Ohtani won’t be pitching for the Dodgers in the playoffs, but the first-round bye at least was a chance for him to rest the knee that had him on the IL in September. Another Dodger to watch is first baseman Freddie Freeman, who gets another shot at his former team here.
