The seventh Sunday of the 2026 NFL season concludes with a potential Super Bowl preview and the return of a conquering hero to the Emerald City. Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III leads his new team, the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs against his old team, the Seattle Seahawks on “Sunday Night Football.” (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC).
Walker leads the NFL in rushing and is currently on pace to shatter the single-season rushing record. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce are both playing at an elite level. Steve Spagnuolo’s defense has been stingy.
The Seahawks, meanwhile, have some work to do. The defending champs have lost two straight and are 3-3 — that’s as many losses as they had all of last season. The defense has not been as sharp as it was last season and quarterback Sam Darnold has thrown seven interceptions. Seattle has lost two in a row, both three-point losses to very good teams, the 49ers and Broncos. With the home-field edge, the Seahawks are 2.5-point favorites in this one.
