Phew! What a week for the NBA’s so-called offseason. Last week was so headline-filled with basketball news that Giannis Antetokounmpo’s trade to the Miami Heat two weeks ago seems like ancient news.
In a three-day span last week, we had LeBron James announcing that he will return to the court next season but not with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kawhi Leonard was traded to the Toronto Raptors for the second time in his career, and the Boston Celtics traded Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers for Chris Paul and a bunch of draft picks.
