The NBA free agency period begins at 6 p.m. ET Tuesday … and we’re not done with trading season, either. We saw Giannis Antetokounmpo traded to the Miami Heat last week. LaMelo Ball was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Ja Morant was shipped to the Portland Trail Blazers.
We’ve already heard plenty about the Boston Celtics trying to trade Jaylen Brown. The other big name on the market is Kawhi Leonard. Regardless of any possible trade, the Los Angeles Clippers are waiting to hear from the NBA about Leonard’s endorsement deal that reportedly circumvented the salary cap.
The 35-year-old Leonard, who was an NBA Finals MVP with the San Antonio Spurs in 2014 and again with the Toronto Raptors in 2019, is in the final year of his contract with the Clippers. So…
