The 2026 NBA Draft is in the books … and Jaylen Brown is still a member of the Boston Celtics. The 2024 NBA Finals MVP has been rumored to be moved for weeks. He was reportedly offered to the Milwaukee Bucks in a possible Giannis Antetokounmpo trade, but the Bucks ended up sending the Greek Freak to the Miami Heat instead.
After that trade went through, some insiders still expected the Celtics to trade Brown at some point during the two-day draft. That didn’t happen.
Is the relationship between Brown and Celtics star Jayson Tatum too toxic to proceed with both players on the team? The Celtics, of course, deny any such issue. And yet, the rumors persist.
With Brown and Tatum together — even with Tatum missing most of the 2025-26 season working his way back from an Achilles injury — Boston had the second-best record in the Eastern Conference. So…
