Week 5 of the college football season features just three games pitting ranked teams against each other:
No. 7 Alabama at No. 16 Mississippi State (12 noon ET, ABC)
No. 5 Ohio State at No. 14 Iowa (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS)
No. 8 Florida at No. 25 Missouri (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC)
All three games are compelling. Alabama-Mississippi State features a pair of Heisman contending quarterbacks in the Tide’s Keelon Russell and the Bulldogs’ Kamario Taylor. Iowa’s defense looks to slow down explosive Buckeyes receiver Jeremiah Smith. Florida looks to remain one of the hottest teams on the rise this season.
There are other big games on the schedule but these are the ones with the most at stake.
