The Los Angeles Lakers closed out a remarkable month of March with a 127-113 home win Tuesday night over the Cleveland Cavaliers, and it was another monster game for Luka Dončić.
Dončić scored 42 points — his fourth 40-point game in March to go along with a 50-point game and a 60-point performance. Dončić averaged 37.5 points per game as the Lakers won 15 of 17 games in March to put themselves smack into the middle of the NBA title picture.
Regardless of how far the Lakers can go, where has Dončić landed among the top MVP candidates? The frontrunners have been Shai Gilgeoous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs and Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics. So…
