[Editor’s note: Welcome to Athlon Sports’ poll of the day, where we ask readers to weigh in on the biggest topic of the day. Thanks for voting, and be sure to sound off in the comment section.]
Today’s poll of the day isn’t exactly a “poll” … but it is a question.
Tonight is Opening Night for Major League Baseball. Just one game — New York Yankees at San Francisco Giants — is on the schedule. First pitch is set for 8:05 p.m. ET at Oracle Park.
Does it feel like baseball season has quietly crept up on us? Fans were excited about the World Baseball Classic, but the hype has died down since last week. Personally, I don’t think Opening Night should feature just one game. If you’re not a fan of the Yankees or Giants, do you care?
And how well has MLB promoted its first game of the season? Here’s the test: We’re curious to know how many people even know who is broadcasting tonight’s game. Tell us who you think it is here. If you don’t know the answer, we’ll tell you in the comment section.
