Caitlin Clark had one of the best performances of her WNBA career this past Sunday against the Chicago Sky, but it came at a price.
The Indiana Fever took care of business this past Sunday in large part due to Clark, who had 37 points on 13-of-24 shooting from the field. She knocked down a career-high eight attempts from beyond the arc. The former No. 1 pick also showed off her playmaking skills by recording 10 assists.
Unfortunately for Clark, she took quite a beating against the Sky. In fact, there’s a photo going viral that shows her left arm all scratched up.

“I don’t see Olivia, Paige, or any other point guard in the league coming out with so many marks on their arms in every game,” one fan said. “The way opponents defend CC is crazy.”
“CC gotta start wearing long sleeve,” a second fan suggested.
“Yet she never gets fouled and is just a flopper. Imagine If she took before and after pics of her arms etc for every game,” another fan commented.
Looking ahead for the Fever.
Clark is enjoying another excellent season with the Fever, averaging 22.1 points and 8.3 assists per game.
The Fever are firmly in the title conversation this year at 25-14. However, they’ll need Clark to keep playing at an MVP level in order to reach their full potential.
Before the WNBA goes on an extended break for the FIBA World Cup, the Fever will face the Connecticut Sun at home on Aug. 28.
