San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested in Ohio over the weekend.
The 46-year-old NFL owner was arrested in East Palestine, Ohio on Sunday. He was arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution in Ohio over the weekend, the California Post confirmed. On Monday morning, York pleaded no contest after the state of Ohio amended the one count of engaging in prostitution to a disorderly conduct charge. He was arrested in a trailer park 30 minutes south of Youngstown.
York, who became team president of the 49ers in 2008, was sentenced two days in jail and fined more than $1,000.

According to court documents obtained by The California Post, York allegedly responded to an ad on a known prostitution website and “arranged to have sexual activity with the female in exchange for $140.”
York was also convicted of “possessing criminal tools”, with an Ohio court filing showing that York’s attorney stated he completed an online course.
The 49ers owner is married to his wife, Danielle Belluomini, and the couple has two sons, Jaxon and Brixton.

The 49ers have been in York’s family since the 1970s. He became the CEO of the franchise in 2008. He was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, where his grandfather made a fortune in shopping mall building and developing.
York was ultimately arrested at the “Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community” in Ohio.
The 49ers, who reached the Divisional Round of the NFC Playoffs last season, are scheduled to open the 2026 NFL regular season on Thursday, September 10.
The 49ers are scheduled to open the year against the Rams in an NFL Australia game airing exclusively on Netflix.
San Francisco has yet to publicly comment on their owner’s arrest.
