Not many 15-year-olds get scholarship offers from Ohio State or Miami. Not many 15-year-olds are the son of one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Marshall Manning now ticks off both boxes.
Marshall is the son of Hall of Fame quarterback and five-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning and made his high school football debut this year, though not as the starter. Unlike his father and uncles though, he did not attend the Isidore Newman School and is instead attending Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
According to 247Sports via People, the 15-year-old QB from Baylor School in Chattanooga has already received scholarship offers from Ohio State, Miami, Purdue and Missouri State.
It’s worth noting that he isn’t even college eligible until 2030 and doesn’t have any star ratings from the recruiting aggregator. That may not matter though. Marshall’s cousin Arch Manning was already being projected as a college football player while he was in middle school.
Manning Family Future
It’s still way too early to make any sort of real assessment on what Marshall Manning will be like as a prospect. There’s barely any film on him and barely and measurables that scouts can use.
It’s also possible that he hasn’t even finished growing yet. He’s only 5-foot-11 right now while cousin Arch is 6-foot-4 and seven years older.
Beyond that, who knows if Manning will really be a starting level QB in college?

Manning’s father and uncle were both elite college quarterbacks while his cousin is considered good at best but hardly in that elite category of Heisman Trophy-caliber.
We might not get a real gauge of what kind of QB Marshall will be in college for another six years depending on where he winds up committing.
