It’s Tennessee vs. Texas week.
ESPN’s “College GameDay” will be live from Knoxville, Tennessee ahead of this weekend’s game between the Volunteers and the Longhorns. Tennessee will look to take down the No. 1 team in the country at home. It would be fun to see Vols legend Peyton Manning in attendance Saturday.
Manning, though, has a conflict of interest on Saturday. His nephew, Arch Manning, is the star quarterback for the Texas Longhorns. “College GameDay” fans want to see Peyton Manning as the guest picker, so he’s forced to pick between his school and his family.
“Make Peyton Manning the guest picker and force him to choose against family or alma-mater,” one fan argued.
“This needs to happen,” another fan added.
“It would be so awkward but it would be great TV,” one fan added.

But we already know who Peyton Manning will be rooting for on Saturday.
Over the summer, Manning announced at his family’s annual quarterbacks camp, that family means more to him than anything else. He’ll be pulling for Arch Manning and Texas against Tennessee on Saturday.
Peyton Manning will be rooting for Texas
Peyton Manning made it clear that while he loves his school, he loves his family more. He’ll be pulling for Texas over Tennessee on Saturday.
“One of the kids was asking me earlier, who I was going to go for, so I said, ‘who do you think?’ He said, that he would go for his school over his relative. I said, ‘you and I are different,'” Manning said this summer.
“Nothing is more important than your family. Obviously, it’s going to be a huge SEC game…I love my university, my alma mater…but nothing is more important to me than my family.”
Peyton Manning said that it’ll be a “no-brainer” to root for his nephew, Arch Manning, against his alma mater.
Tennessee fans might not like to hear that, but you have to respect Peyton Manning’s loyalty to his family.
Kickoff on Saturday is set for 12 p.m. E.T.
