The fan who went viral on ABC during Saturday’s Florida vs. Ole Miss game has become social media famous.
Peyton Blomquist, an Orlando native, went viral during the ESPN college football broadcast on Saturday. She went from having around 10,000 followers on Instagram heading into the weekend, to having more than 50,000 by Wednesday. It’s a pretty massive blowup for her.
The viral college football fan has made it clear that she’s enjoying the spotlight, too.
“Go Gators,” she wrote as she shared a screenshot of her TV appearance over the weekend.
The viral fan from the Ole Miss at Florida game has clarified to her 50,000-plus followers that she’s single.
“Actually, I’m in the market for a husband,” she reportedly wrote in a social media comment.
Blomquist’s bio has continued to go viral on social media.
“Additionally, Blomquist boasts athletic credentials, having competed in volleyball during 2019 and securing third place at the AAU National Championships,” The Mirror reported.
“She’s previously given her time to Orlando Health as a volunteer, while her TikTok profile demonstrates her dedication to wellness, featuring posts that promote a health-conscious way of life.”
Florida emerging as College Football Playoff contender
The Gators are emerging as a serious College Football Playoff contender this season, moving to 4-0 on the year with Saturday’s win over Ole Miss.
Florida is set to continue SEC play this weekend, taking on Missouri at 3:30 p.m. E.T. on Saturday.
The Gators will look to contend at the top of the SEC and perhaps make a run at the College Football Playoff later in the year. Florida started the year toward the bottom of the Top 25, though Jon Sumrall’s program is quickly rising up the ranks.
Florida will be a team to watch in the SEC moving forward this year.
