The 2025 season was a massive turnaround for New England. After bottoming out with a 4–13 record in 2024, the Patriots shocked the league by reaching the Super Bowl in Mike Vrabel's first year as head coach.

The run ended in a 29–13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 8 at Levi's Stadium. Quarterback Drake Maye played through a right shoulder injury that required a pre-game injection, but he struggled in the Final. Seattle’s defence forced two interceptions and a fumble, keeping the Lombardi Trophy out of reach for the rising New England squad.

Now, less than a month after that heartbreak, Patriots fans just got more unwelcome news, which is going to hit their wallet hard.

According to a Boston Herald report, the Patriots are raising prices on the majority of tickets for all home games in the 2026 season, with an average increase of little more than 7%. It marks only the second time since 2008 that the team has hiked prices on the majority of its seats.

While most seats will see a hike under 10%, the biggest increases are reserved for the first seven rows of the 300-level midfield. Only about 15% of all tickets will see a double-digit jump.

The team's cheapest season tickets will stay at $89 per game, or $890 for the full 10-game package. Despite holding the line on these entry-level prices, they sell the eighth-most expensive average ticket in the NFL.

However, there is a small consolation for fans facing higher costs in 2026. The Patriots remain the only NFL team to offer free general parking in all stadium-owned lots, plus a $50 Visa gift card incentive for those who wait 75 minutes after the game ends before exiting.
