Will Compton's getting snubbed from Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding on Friday grabbed some headlines. The retired linebacker attended some Tight End University events and admitted that he felt flabbergasted for not receiving an invite. He is also friends with Kansas City Chiefs stars, including Patrick Mahomes, with whom he had some playful banter in the past.
Compton played in the NFL for nine seasons, seeing action for four franchises. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2013 after he had a strong collegiate run with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The 6-foot-1, 235-pound athlete earned second-team All-Big Ten honors in 2012.
He has since established himself as a prominent podcast host. Compton launched "Bussin' With The Boys" in 2019 with his former Tennessee Titans teammate, Taylor Lewan. NFL fans have received his lighthearted character well, and the show has become a huge hit.

Patrick Mahomes' Comments On Will Compton Resurface
During the 2025 Super Bowl Media Day, Mahomes was asked by the podcast's staff why he hadn't followed Compton back on X. The quarterback's response resurfaced recently amid the host's comments about the wedding snub.
"That's just a question for him," Mahomes said. "I don't know if I can follow Will yet. He hates on us just a little too much. I know it's fun, but maybe I'll get on the podcast. We can discuss it further then, and maybe I'll give him a follow back."
The clip is currently making the rounds again on social media. It has gone viral again, amassing over 1.4 million views on X as of this writing.
Many believed Mahomes said his answer in jest. However, he hasn't appeared on the podcast as he suggested.
He continues his recovery from ACL surgery in December but will reportedly be ready for Week 1. Kansas City missed the playoffs last season, and Mahomes aims to lead the team back to Super Bowl contention.
