Mahomes commented on Saturday that Worthy doesn't play basketball and suggested that his poses were just for show. Fans replied to the Chiefs QB, highlighting that his words showed strong chemistry among the players. Some also trolled Worthy by agreeing with Mahomes.

Worthy is entering his third NFL season after the Kansas City Chiefs drafted him at No. 28 in the first round in 2024. He played 14 games last year, including 13 starts. The 23-year-old wideout suffered a dislocated shoulder in Week 2 but only missed two games.
Mahomes, on the other hand, continues to recover from the ACL injury he sustained in December. The good news for Chiefs fans is he will reportedly return to action by Week 1. The franchise missed the playoffs for the first time in the Mahomes QB1 era and is looking to bounce back strong in 2026.
