Taylor Swift's new song, "I Knew It, I Knew You," is part of the "Toy Story 5" soundtrack. Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, along with his wife, Brittany Mahomes, shared the news via Instagram stories.
The Chiefs QB reposted the second slide of the pop superstar's post on Monday. It showed Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie, along with the title of the song.
Swift also announced on an IG story earlier in the day that the track will be available in different versions, including acoustic and piano. Fans can pre-order the collector's edition CDs until 1:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday or until supplies last. Streaming platforms will make it available Friday.
Pixar's "Toy Story 5" will be released in theaters across the U.S. on June 19.
Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes, also used the same photo when she posted it on her Instagram story. They are good friends with Swift and Travis Kelce, who are expected to get married this year.
The quarterback-tight end duo has been teammates since 2017 and also co-own 1587 Prime, a steakhouse in downtown Kansas City.
Kelce agreed to a deal with the Chiefs to return for potentially his final NFL season. He took his time before eventually agreeing to a one-year, $12 million contract.
Mahomes, on the other hand, is recovering from an ACL injury he suffered late last season. However, reports suggested that he could be ready by Week 1.
The two will be relied upon heavily by the franchise in its bid to reclaim lost glory. Kansas City missed the playoffs last season with a 6-11 record. It was the first time the team didn't reach the playoffs in the Mahomes era.
