Pat McAfee has had a lot on his plate over the years.
The former NFL punter turned sports media star has been doing his daily "The Pat McAfee Show" for ESPN, while also starring on ESPN's "College GameDay" and making other appearances across the network. He's also been appearing on WWE broadcasts.
However, the former Indianapolis Colts punter has not appeared on a WWE broadcast since September. McAfee has taken breaks from his WWE broadcasting career before. However, this one sounds like it might be permanent.
The Indianapolis resident opened up about his decision on his future in the WWE on Monday morning.

McAfee took to his Instagram story on Sunday. He made it clear that he has no plans to return to WWE broadcasts.
It sounds like that part of his career is over - at least for now.
“I don’t think you ever say never, you know, especially with the WWE,” McAfee said. “But right now, it does not feel like it is something that’s supposed to happen. It feels like that business has kind of passed me by a little bit.”
McAfee believes that the wrestling world has passed him by, as he's decided to focus on other things - mainly football.
“I grew up loving it, dream to work in it, feel honored that I had the opportunity to work alongside the GOAT Michael Cole, but I feel like the biz in a good spot without me,” McAfee said. “I’ll continue to watch.”
It wouldn't surprise anyone if McAfee returned to the wrestling world at some point, but for now, that part of his career appears to be over.
