ESPN personality Pat McAfee is concerned about President Trump's presence on Monday evening.

The President of the United States is set to attend Monday night's national title game in Miami, Florida. President Trump, who previously attended the Super Bowl and Daytona 500, will add another prestigious sporting event to his resume on Monday evening.

But President Trump's presence could cause issues for fans attending the game. President Trump attended the U.S. Open earlier in 2025 and the thousands of fans attending the match in Flushing Meadows had issues.

Could the same happen Monday night?

“Might have to fill tonight. Just something to think about,” McAfee said to Nick Saban and others on Monday. “We’re still live, obviously. We have might have to fill tonight. You see how long it took to get in here? U.S. Open, right, was the last time the president was at an event with a lot of people? That was delayed, what, an hour?”

“You think they’ll delay the start of the game?” asked co-host A.J. Hawk.

“I don’t know, man,” replied McAfee.

Saban, meanwhile, admitted that when President Trump attended Alabama's national title game in 2018, it was "a problem."
