It's becoming very evident that attending the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh won't be cheap.
Fans have already noticed that hotel prices from April 23-25 are through the roof because of the NFL Draft. As if that wasn't bad enough, those who are driving to the event may have to pay a premium just to park their own vehicles.
Steelers reporter Mark Kaboly revealed this week that places in Pittsburgh are offering parking spots for $250 per day. Sure, you can save $50 by paying in cash, but that doesn't exactly make this situation that much sweeter.

Judging by the reactions online, fans aren't interested in spending $200 on parking.
"Not worth attending for those prices," one fan said.
"I’d avoid the Draft with how the world is right now, all eyes on Pittsburgh frightens me," a second fan commented.
"I just canceled my hotel room because when I reserved it the day they announced the draft was in Pittsburgh it said free parking. Now it’s saying I have to pay to park. Sounds like space is going to be an issue downtown as well. So I’ll be watching from home," another fan commented.
Schools closed for the NFL Draft.
It was confirmed last week that Pittsburgh’s public schools will be closed from Wednesday, April 22 through Friday, April 24. This is due to the influx of visitors coming to town for the NFL Draft.
“We know it’s not ideal, but it is a reality of a city hosting a big event where we’re expecting about 500,000-700,000 visitors into our city, and it will completely create sort of (an) exciting time, but also some challenging times when we think about accessibility, transportation, and safety,” Superintendent Wayne Walters said.
The NFL's annual event will be held at the North Shore in the Steel City, so this incredible fan experience will span across Acrisure Stadium and Point State Park.
