ESPN’s “College GameDay” aired its first Saturday morning show of the season on September 5.
The ESPN college football pregame show was live from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, ahead of Saturday night’s LSU vs. Clemson clash. ESPN’s college football pregame show has changed a lot over the years, with the retirement of Lee Corso and the promotion of Pat McAfee.
But is the show changing for the better? Or is it changing for the worst?
Some parents are saying that the college football pregame show is actually becoming “inappropriate” for their kids to watch.

One parent spoke out on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday morning: “I’m no prude but game day has become something I don’t even feel comfortable watching with my kids. Trash show. Sad tradition they’ve messed up.”

Some parents say that there’s too much that they don’t want their kids to see now.
“I can understand that with the cussing and stuff,” one parent said.
“Too inappropriate now,” one fan added.
“I think Saban is super annoyed by it. Herbstreit is threatened by it and tries to say outrageous things that are just super cringy,” one fan added.
“I don’t even turn it on. Clowns with bad takes and zero real knowledge of the game. I’ll stick to my radio coverage and be happy with it,” one fan added.
“I love CFB and all the traditions but Pat encouraging the entire crowd there to yell that vile vile statement was so gross. I know LSU fans think it’s funny and tough talk…it’s just absolute trash. People have kids there and watching at home. They shouldn’t have to listen to that vile garbage,” one fan added.
