Paige appeared to have something to say to Nikki Bella on tonight's episode of SmackDown, but WWE fans never got to hear it.
The former WWE Divas Champion was scheduled to address Nikki following the shocking events at SummerSlam. However, her planned promo was left off the August 14 edition of SmackDown as the show ran short on time.
The cut came after a packed broadcast that featured several lengthy segments and three championship matches. The Cody Rhodes-Randy Orton confrontation also took up a significant portion of the closing stretch before the broadcast ended abruptly.
Paige appeared to acknowledge the situation almost immediately after the show. She first posted a simple “Lol” on X.
Nikki and Brie Bella then responded, seemingly asking what Paige had intended to say.
“What was that @Saraya ??? I think I missed what you said. 💁🏻♀️💅🏼,” the Bella Twins wrote.
Paige did not hold back in her response and called out WWE:
“You’d think you’d want women to have segments instead of being cut. You’ve always been full of shit. It’s alright I’ll just see ya in person next week bb ❤️.”
While Paige did not explicitly say WWE had cut her particular segment, the timing of her post made the message difficult to miss. Her comments also shifted attention toward the broader issue of women's segments being removed when television time becomes limited.
The situation came at an important point in Paige's ongoing story with Nikki Bella.
Paige and Nikki Bella’s SummerSlam Fallout Continues
The rivalry began at SummerSlam when Nikki and Brie Bella turned against Paige following their six-woman tag team defeat to Fatal Influence.
The betrayal immediately changed the direction of the program and left Paige with unfinished business on SmackDown.
WWE had planned for Paige to address Nikki on the Boston broadcast, but the segment ultimately did not make the live show.
The confrontation now appears set to continue next week, with Paige telling "The Fearless One" that she would see her in person.
