Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers continues to impress this 2026 season and show everyone that she's one of the best players in the league today. On Friday, she exploded for 34 points on 13-of-22 shooting to lead Dallas to a 108-95 victory over the Toronto Tempo.
Bueckers is now averaging 20.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.0 assists. She's shooting an efficient 51.8% from the field, while establishing the Wings as a top-four team in the WNBA. Dallas currently boasts a 15-8 record.
Amid a sensational second year for Bueckers, Nike made sure to celebrate her. On Saturday, the iconic brand dropped an advertisement with a Western theme. The commercial showed a wanted poster of Bueckers.

"WANTED FOR STEALING WINS AND CRUSHING DREAMS," the poster wrote. It also included a new nickname for Bueckers, "The Midranger."
The nickname, in particular, was a big hit among fans and viewers. One follower even wrote, "'The Midranger' is a dope nickname."
"This is cold [expletive] omg," a supporter wrote. Another one said, "Bueckers Texas Midranger."
"Cleverrrrr," a fan added.
A commenter stated, "nahhh The Midranger is insane, Nike been cookin with this new generation."
"I love it so much," a sixth social media user stated.
For what it's worth, Bueckers is known for her deadly mid-range game, so "The Midranger" definitely fits her.
The Wings star has also spoken about dominating in the mid-range in the past, when she scored 44 points against the Los Angeles Sparks in her rookie season.
"I truly think basketball has gotten away from it — it's mostly layups and 3s," Bueckers said at the time, per Michael Voepel of ESPN. "Teams don't know how to guard it. So I think it's an advantage when you can score in the midrange."
It remains to be seen if "The Midranger" nickname will stick, though, especially since Bueckers is better know for her other nickname, "Paige Buckets."
