The Green Bay Packers have decided to go with the "business as usual" approach to embattled running back Josh Jacobs. Suffice it to say, it's not working out too well.

Jacobs was recently arrested for a slew of charges associated with domestic violence, but prosecutors have not formally charged him. He is currently facing immense scrutiny from the league, not to mention fans.

But Packers head coach Matt LaFleur used those exact words - "business as usual" - when addressing the team with a now-present Jacobs at practice on Tuesday.

Fans Respond

Fans were far from amused by how nonchalant LaFleur and the rest of the Packers organization was acting towards Jacobs given the seriousness of the situation. Many angrily took to X and admonished the league allowing players to do anything they want except gambling.

"Green Bay should be ashamed of themselves for letting this low life women beater back on the field," one user wrote on X.

"Pro athletes can do everything except gamble on sports," another wrote.

"'That was a crazy week guys, anyways hand me the (expletive) rock,'" a third mocked.

"Of course it's business as usual, he didn't introduce Donald Trump at a speech."

"Probably not the best choice of words to be honest."

"The NFL really is unbelievable lol."

"How is he not on the suspended list?? I remember when Chiefs players got put on the suspended list for (expletive) WAYYYY less significant than what he did.

"The NFL is really evil when you think of it."

The legal process hasn't played out though. District Attorney David Lasee said last week that it was still too early to make a decision.

"Our office has requested additional investigation, as there is reason to believe that additional evidence may exist that would impact whether criminal charges are appropriate, and what charges would be issued... The investigation remains open and is ongoing," Lasee said, via NFL.com.

Jacobs has vehemently denied the allegations against him.

Not that it'll make anyone feel better for pointing it out, but Josh Jacobs isn't the first player to return to his team with effectively a clean slate with the team.
