Micah Parsons produced one of the finest seasons of his career in his first year with the Green Bay Packers, immediately showing why the team made a blockbuster move to acquire him. After joining Green Bay in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys, Parsons recorded 12.5 sacks, 41 tackles and one pass defended in 14 games, earning first-team All-Pro honors and a fifth consecutive Pro Bowl selection.
Unfortunately, his season ended prematurely in December. Parsons suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in his left knee during Green Bay’s Week 15 loss to the Denver Broncos, and the injury eventually required surgery. He was placed on injured reserve and has spent the offseason focused on his rehabilitation.
He went on to become a three-time All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler with Dallas before the Cowboys traded him to Green Bay in August 2025.
Parsons remains on the physically unable to perform list and is expected to miss the beginning of the 2026 season. The Packers’ current expectation is that he will miss at least the opening portion of the season, although his exact return date remains uncertain.
