The Indiana Pacers have endured a difficult season. They are hoping to finish the year on a strong note. In order to accomplish that feat, they will need players such as Pascal Siakam on the floor. Siakam, however, is dealing with an injury.
The star forward is listed on the NBA injury report for Monday's game against the Atlanta Magic as questionable to play due to a right knee sprain. Indiana is closely monitoring his status and a final decision will likely be made a couple of hours before tip-off.
Siakam is one of 10 Pacers on the injury report. Tyrese Haliburton and Johnny Furphy remain out due to their ACL tears. Ivica Zubac is out due to a rib fracture. Andrew Nembhard (right calf contusion), Aaron Nesmith (right ankle injury management), Obi Toppin (right foot injury management), Taelon Peter (G League two-way), Jalen Slawson (G League two-way) and Ethan Thompson (G League two-way) are all listed as questionable.
The Pacers have uncertainty heading into the matchup. For now, Siakam and a number of other players are questionable to play.

The Pacers are 15-56 heading into the contest on Monday. They have the worst record in the NBA. It has been an underwhelming campaign to say the least for a team that reached the NBA Finals last year.
Siakam, 31, has played well, though. The veteran forward earned the fourth All-Star selection of his career. He is currently averaging 23.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists per outing while shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 36 percent from beyond the arc.
The Pacers' future is bright despite their disastrous season. Tyrese Haliburton will return from injury next year, which will certainly make a significant impact. Ivica Zubac's return next year will help matters as well. Siakam, meanwhile, is under contract through the 2027-28 season, so he will play a role in Indiana over the next couple of years.
The Pacers are in an interesting position. Some teams are bad simply because they do not have enough talent. For Indiana, that is not the problem. Rather, injuries have been the concern. If they can find a way to have a healthier all-around 2026-27 campaign, Indiana could end up making the postseason.
At the moment, Pascal Siakam and the Pacers' focus is on Monday night's game against the Magic in Orlando.
