AEW’s Announcement
In its social media statement, AEW wrote that it was “saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” identified him as a native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and said he began wrestling in 2004, signed with AEW in 2019, held multiple AEW Championships, and competed in some of the company’s most memorable matches.

Ricky Morton quoted AEW’s post and wrote that hearing Pac had died at 40 “is one of those moments that really makes you stop and think,” calling him “a tremendous wrestler, an incredible athlete, and a real gem of a human being,” and adding that the first time he watched Pac wrestle he was “speechless.”
Frankie Kazarian posted: “This is just, beyond awful. Not even going to try to process this. RIP Benjamin ‘PAC’ Satterley. I’m grateful to have known and worked with you. Godspeed.”
