Football season can be a tough and stressful time for the family members of the league’s players, particularly their significant others.
Olivia Culpo, the wife of San Francisco 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey, is doing her best to raise their daughter, during the busy NFL season. McCaffrey, of course, is busy most weekdays and weekends, with 17 games over the course of the regular season. The 49ers are 3-0 heading into Week 4.
The model and influencer recently opened up about a worry she has for her family, as she’s pregnant with their second child.
“Any tips for navigating toddler life after a C-section? I’m worried about not being able to pick her up or do our usual routine when she’s too little to understand why 🤍,” Culpo wrote in the post, which showed her holding her daughter.

McCafrrey can’t be home as much as his wife and children would like, given the nature of his work in the NFL.

McCaffrey is off to a strong start in 2026
While his wife manages the household, the 49ers running back is off to a strong start this season. The 49ers are 3-0 and everyone has been playing well.
The All-Pro running back has 35 carries for 166 yards and a touchdown, while adding 13 receptions for 104 yards.
The 49ers have been among the league’s most dominant teams this fall, beating the Rams in the season opener in Australia, 27-7, before taking down the Dolphins in Week 2, 35-13, and the Cardinals in Week 3, 36-30.
San Francisco faces a big test in Week 4, though, taking on the Denver Broncos. Kickoff for that one is set for 4:25 p.m. E.T. The game will air on CBS.
