The Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays have a sneaky matchup to cash another NRFI. However, the Texas Rangers and the Athletics have the potential to detonate early for a YRFI.

Best NRFI and YRFI Bets Today
Milwaukee Brewers at Los Angeles Dodgers NRFI (-135)
The Brewers have "The Miz" going Saturday. Misiorowski is 11-5 with a majors-leading 1.76 ERA. Don't bother taking the bat off your shoulder in the first, either, as his ERA is 2.05, and he has struck out 45 in 22 innings. LHP Justin Wrobleski goes for the Dodgers at 11-4 with a 3.44 ERA. He's a little wobbly in the first with a 5.68 ERA, but he's good at home with a 2.91 ERA overall.
Baltimore Orioles at Tampa Bay Rays NRFI (-145)
RHP Kyle Bradish goes for the O’s at 7-11 with a 3.61 ERA. He has been outstanding in the first inning with a 0.78 ERA, allowing just two earned runs in 23 opening frames. LHP Ian Seymour is 9-3 with a 4.08 ERA for the Rays. He’s nails in the first inning with a 2.00 ERA and 14 K’s in nine first frames. With both starters pitching well in the opening stanza, this NRFI should come at a decent value.
Texas Rangers at Athletics YRFI (-135)
Rangers LHP MacKenzie Gore is 6-9 with a 4.43 ERA. It has been an up-and-down season for him, but trouble in the first has been a constant. He has surrendered runs in two of three starts with a 4.68 first-inning ERA. RHP J.T. Ginn makes his 22nd start for the A's at 8-6 with a 3.41 ERA. If he skipped the first, that ERA would be a lot better as he has a 5.14 clip in the first frame.
What Do NRFI and YRFI Mean in Baseball?
The term NRFI indicates no runs scored in the first inning. Its opposite, YRFI, indicates yes, there will be a run in the first inning. It doesn't matter if the run qualifies as an earned run or not. If a run crosses the plate in the first inning for either team, the wager loses for the NRFI side and wins for the YRFI side.
