It's all about the NRFI today as we're going to ride arguably the best arm in baseball at Coors Field as Milwaukee Brewers RHP Jacob Misiorowski takes on the Colorado Rockies. We also like the pitching matchups between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Atlanta Braves and Seattle Mariners vs. Detroit Tigers.

You're probably going to be kicking back and watching some Saturday baseball, so why not make some money off of it?

Best NRFI Bets Today

Milwaukee Brewers at Colorado Rockies NRFI (+100)

Stud RHP Jacob Misiorowski makes his first appearance at Coors Field. The thin air is known to flatten out breaking pitches, but it really can't do much to a 103-mph fastball. "The Miz" should keep it clean early. The Rockies were slated to start RHP Tanner Gordon before he went on the IL list yesterday. As of late Friday, no starter has been confirmed, so this NRFI wager is on the riskier side.

Pittsburgh Pirates at Atlanta Braves NRFI (-120)

The Bucs throw young RHP Braxton Ashcraft, who is 5-2 with a 2.77 ERA on the season. He hasn't allowed an earned run in the opening frame through 12 starts. It feels strange to fathom, but the risky one is RHP Spencer Strider. He's 3-1 with a 3.77 ERA on the season, and his 11.6 K/9 is creeping back up to where it was before Tommy John surgery.

Seattle Mariners at Detroit Tigers NRFI (-130)

M's RHP Bryce Miller has been great in limited action with a 1.71 ERA. He hasn't been scored on in three first innings. Speaking of not scored upon, Tigers RHP Keider Montero has yet to allow an earned run in the first in 11 starts. Hitters are just 2-for-36 (.056) off of him in the first. This is a great matchup to cash an NRFI.

What Does NRFI and YRFI Mean in Baseball?

The term NRFI indicates no runs scored in the first inning. Its opposite, YRFI, indicates yes, a run will be scored in the first inning. It doesn't matter if the run qualifies as an earned run or not. If a run crosses the plate in the first inning for either team, the wager loses for the NRFI side and wins for the YRFI side.
