Tyran Stokes, the No. 1 recruit in the country, is getting ripped online for an "immature" photo.
The five-star guard, who committed to Kansas last week, is expected to be a top pick in the 2027 NBA Draft, likely spending just one season with the Jayhawks before jetting off to the pros.
“Honestly it’s been a long process, ever since I got my first offer, I think going into high school,” he said of his commitment. “Ever since then it’s been having like, college coaches talking to me, having good relationships with different coaches. It takes a lot.”
He added: "Rock chalk, man. Rock Chalk."

But on Wednesday, Stokes flaunted what is likely some of his Name, Image and Likeness money, showing it off on social media.
"Tyran Stokes getting adjusted to college life ❤️🔥."
Fans rip Stokes for 'immature' photo decision
Stokes, like all top college athletes these days, is getting paid a lot of money. But flaunting it like that?
It's not smart.
"Please tell this is fake? Guy advertising to be robbed," one wrote.
"Just immature," one added.
"I don’t wanna say the kid is going to be a bust but this has bust written all over it," another added.
"Dudes ready for the club tonight! Gonna make it rain!!!!!!" another joked.
"Put a sign up that says I’m a clown would be easier," one fan added.
Stokes will likely get a talking to from Kansas head coach Bill Self about appropriate social media behavior.
