Until then, the October 2012 retro (538133-010) is the most recent pair. It still turns up on resale and auction sites such as StockX, GOAT and eBay.

The moment happened in Game 3 at the United Center on May 12, 1995. Jordan had been fined $5,000 for wearing white Air Jordan 11 ‘Concords’ in Games 1 and 2 because they didn’t match his teammates’ black sneakers.

He went back to a black Air Jordan 11 for Game 4, and Orlando won the series 4-2. A popular story says Jordan cut Penny’s “1” off the heel tab, but Hardaway has said he can’t confirm it.
