Nick Sirianni has done a whole lot of winning since he took over as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles prior to the 2021 NFL season.
He’s led the Eagles to two Super Bowls, won one of them, and he boasts a regular-season winning percentage of 70. He’s already the third-most winningest coach in Eagles history, and he’s on the verge of becoming the second-most.
Nick Sirianni Close to Becoming Second-Most Winningest Coach in Eagles History
Sirianni currently has 61 regular-season wins as the head coach of the Eagles, which is the third-most in franchise history. Greasy Neale, who sits second on the list, had 63 career wins in Philadelphia.
So, Sirianni needs just three more wins to pass Neale and move into second on the Eagles’ all-time wins list. Barring a complete collapse, that should happen this season. Sirianni is already second in Eagles history in playoff victories with six. He’ll hope to add to that number this season.
Meanwhile, Sirianni still has a ways to go to catch Andy Reid, who won 130 regular season games during his tenure with the team. Sirianni, however, was already able to do the one thing that Reid never could in Philadelphia: Win a Super Bowl.
Nick Sirianni Seeking Fifth Consecutive 11-Win Season in Philadelphia
The Eagles won nine games during Sirianni’s first season as the head coach in 2021. Since then, the Birds have won at least 11 games in four straight seasons, which is extremely impressive.
Sirianni is seeking his fifth straight 11-plus win season, and he’s off to a good start. The Eagles are 2-0 after two weeks of action, so they only need to win nine of their remaining 15 games to reach that mark. Of course, they’ll obviously aim to win more than that, but that has become the bar for a successful regular season during the Sirianni era.
