The Los Angeles Rams are now 2-2 on the season after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. The visitors came from behind to defeat the home Eagles, 24-20. Puka Nacua was one of the players who helped the Rams secure the victory.

The two-time Pro Bowler carried the ball for a two-yard score late in the first half, marking Los Angeles’ first touchdown of the game. Nacua finished with nine catches for a game-high 125 yards.

The Eagles dominated the first half. They scored 17 points in the second quarter, led by quarterback Jalen Hurts. The Super Bowl LIX champion completed 12-of-27 passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns.

Philadelphia, however, struggled after the break and failed to score in the entire second half. The Rams capitalized and mounted a fourth-quarter comeback. They scored 14 points in the final frame to secure their victory.

Nacua, however, is now awaiting the NFL’s punishment decision after he was flagged for a penalty late in the third quarter.

With 33 seconds remaining in the third quarter, Matthew Stafford handed the ball to Kyren Williams on second-and-2 from the Philadelphia 30. As Williams ran for what would have been a seven-yard gain, Nacua attempted to block Eagles cornerback Michael Carter II. The referees threw a flag on the play and penalized Nacua for an illegal blindside block. It nullified the play and resulted in a 15-yard penalty against the Rams.

According to Rule 12, Article 2, Section 7 of the NFL rulebook, a blindside block is when “a player initiates a block when his path is toward or parallel to his own end line and makes forcible contact with his opponent with his helmet, forearm, or shoulder.”

Under the 2026 NFL fines schedule, a first offense carries a $17,911 fine, rising to $23,882 for a second.

Nacua will have to wait for the NFL’s official ruling, usually announced Saturday afternoon in the league’s weekly fines update.
