Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua entered rehab last month to get help and focus on "personal growth."
Nacua, 24, has had a series of unfortunate events over the past several months. He made an antisemitic gesture during a livestream with a controversial influencer in December. In March, he was sued by a woman for allegedly making an "unprovoked antisemitic statement" and later biting her. A hearing is scheduled for April 14, according to multiple reports.
Now, TMZ Sports is reporting that last month, the NFL superstar checked into rehab to focus on "personal growth." Currently, Nacua is at a different facility, focusing on other improvements.
His attorney told TMZ Sports that Nacua is currently checked into a holistic care facility in Malibu. He's "using the time to get in tip-top shape personally and professionally ahead of the season," his attorney says.

The Los Angeles Rams star is expected to be ready for OTAs in May.
"Puka is also deeply grateful for the support he has received from his family, friends, Coach [Sean] McVay, and his teammates," his attorney added.
Rams head coach Sean McVay commented on Nacua's status during the NFL owners' meetings in Phoenix earlier this month.
McVay knows Nacua needs to make better choices
Nacua can be an NFL star or he can be a controversial streamer and influencer, like the people he hangs out with. He can't be both.
A reporter asked if McVay has told his star wide receiver: “You’ve got a great thing in front of you, focus on that.”
“It’s really just what you said,” McVay replied. “Here’s the thing that you do know: Being around him for three years, love this guy’s heart. He’s got this authentic zest for life. He’s got just this vibe about him that you can’t help but love. And he’s continuing to mature. And as you’re becoming this amazing player, that comes with responsibilities. But we love him. He’s one of us. You want to continue to put your arm around him and help him continue to grow in all areas of his life. I think we want to invest in the whole person.”
Nacua has quickly become one of the NFL's best players, but he needs to avoid issues off of the field.
