Apparently, CBS sideline reporter Melanie Collins has been working on her golf game this NFL offseason.
Collin, who has been with CBS since June 2018, has been working alongside Kevin Harlan and Trent Green for the past few NFL seasons. Prior to joining CBS, she covered just about every major sport for ESPN and Yahoo Sports.
"She also worked as a fill-in host for “SportsNation” and “First Take” on ESPN. Collins was the face of Yahoo! Sports where her assignments included reporting from all major sporting events across the globe including the Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl, NCAA Football National Championship, Stanley Cup Playoffs, NCAA Basketball Final Four, NFL Draft, NBA Finals, and the World Series," her bio for Paramount states. "A graduate of the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism at The Pennsylvania State University, Collins has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and earned a second degree in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design."

With the NFL season still over a month away, Collins is spending some of her time off on the golf course.
Collins shared a photo of her at Ballyhack Golf Club along with the caption: "This close to my first hole-in-one but hit the base of the pin and lipped out."

Who knows? Maybe we'll see Collins cover the PGA Tour for CBS in 2027.
In the meantime, Collins is expected to keep reporting on the NFL. She'll get her Week 1 assignment in the next month or so.
