The Detroit Lionshave some glaring needs on their roster that could hold them back in 2026, but one position they don't need to worry about is wide receiver.
Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams are set to return as the top two players in the position group, with Isaac TeSlaa and Greg Dortch behind them. Dominic Lovett and Cedrick Wilson Jr. could also play their way into offensive snaps, but both need to lock up roster spots first.
Detroit has an arsenal of dynamic playmakers on offense, especially at receiver, which should lead to them having a productive passing attack in 2026.
4 Lions Receivers Crack Bleacher Report's Top 130 List

Bleacher Report released its list of the top 130 non-rookie receivers in the league, and the Lions were well represented. Dortch came in at No. 88, TeSlaa slotted in at No. 81, Williams was No. 16, and St. Brown nearly reached the top five, coming in at No. 6.
The NFC North is filled with talented receivers, but the Lions have the deepest group of them all. St. Brown is an All-Pro player who has tallied over 100 catches, 1,200 receiving yards, and 10-plus touchdowns in each of the last three seasons.
Williams is coming off a career year with 1,117 yards and seven touchdowns, and he's only getting better. The 25-year-old is a premier deep threat and is the perfect complement to St. Brown as the WR2.
TeSlaa and Dortch are solid depth behind Detroit's elite duo. TeSlaa had six touchdowns during his rookie campaign in 2025, and though he's off to a slow start in training camp, the Arkansas product should still be an electric WR3 in Drew Petzing's offense. Dortch is a savvy veteran receiver who should provide stability and also make an impact on special teams.
Though the Minnesota Vikings' receiver group is also stacked with talent, the team is facing questions at quarterback with Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy competing for the starting job, which could hold back Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jauan Jennings.
As a result, the Lions' receivers should be more effective in 2026. Quarterback Jared Goff is one of the best pocket passers in the sport and loves to spread the ball around. Combined with tight end Sam LaPorta and the contributions from running back Jahmyr Gibbs out of the backfield, Detroit should boast the most productive passing game in the division and be a matchup nightmare for defenses.
