NFL Network star Kyle Brandt thinks Deshaun Watson’s career should be over following his press conference on Saturday.
Watson was booed by Browns fans in Cleveland during Saturday’s preseason game against the Bills. Watson, who is expected to start at quarterback for the Browns this fall, was booed heavily on nearly every appearance on Saturday. Watson said that he found the booing to be “disrespectful.”
The Browns quarterback was previously suspended after being accused of misconduct by more than a dozen female massage therapists.
“It has nothing to do about the performance,” Watson said of the boos. “It’s a little bit personal. I think that’s a disrespectful thing. I’m going to keep whatever I feel with me and my family internally on how I feel about that. Just move on.”

Rather than take ownership of his missteps and behavior, Watson turned it on the fans. That’s likely not going to be a recipe for success.
Brandt is now calling for Watson’s ousting from the league.
Should Deshaun Watson’s career be over?
“Was that a career-ending press conference? I think it might have been,” Brandt said on NFL Network.
“I would cut him.”
Watson has started just 19 games since the Browns acquired him in a blockbuster trade from Houston four years ago. The Browns mortgaged their future to land Watson and it’s blown up in their face.
The Browns quarterback has dealt with injuries, too.
“Last time I played on this field, I tore my Achilles and that same fan base, they cheered when I got hurt,” Watson said. “So what does that have to do with anything about performance? When a person gets hurt, especially for your own city and they cheer.”
The Browns could still start him this fall, though.
