After participating in a flag football event for Fanatics over the weekend, Tom Brady is pushing for a change to the sport.
The seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback was one of several notable NFL players, past and present, to participate in the event. Others included Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, and even some influencers, like Logan Paul.
With flag football coming to the Summer Olympics in 2028, there's going to be a lot more attention surrounding the sport.

Brady, who went 0-2 in his flag football event on Saturday, wants to see flag football more resembling real football.
“I think maybe about different ways to marry a 7-on-7 version of the game versus a flag version where it resembles a little bit more football, might make it more exciting to watch every single day, and get more people involved in it, kind of globally around the world,” Brady said.
Brady also said that he wants to “bring a little more passing into” flag football."
Brady is pushing for a change to the games next year, too
The legendary NFL quarterback believes that next year, we could get an AFC vs. NFC game in this event.
“I think, you know, even on the sideline, just thinking about maybe an NFC team next year versus an AFC team, and then kind of sprinkle in some of the great, you know, American flag players,” Brady said. “I think that could really help.”
