Tom Brady’s Las Vegas Raiders are off to a strong start this season. They defeated the Miami Dolphins 27-13 on Sunday in front of their home fans at Allegiant Stadium. The NFL legend expressed his clear opinion about his team’s victory.
Brady posted two Instagram stories on Monday. The first featured second-year running back Ashton Jeanty with his hands up while holding a football. The 49-year-old added an overlay text that read “JUST WIN BABY,” with the W in a bigger font.
His second story showed the team celebrating inside the locker room. Maxx Crosby is in the middle as the team congratulated head coach Klint Kubiak on his winning debut.
“Full team effort 🖤🩶,” Brady wrote.
Kirk Cousins impressed in his first start for Las Vegas. He completed 21-of-30 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns against two interceptions. Jeanty recorded 23 rushing attempts for 102 yards, along with six receptions for 45 yards and two scores.
Brady retired for good in February 2023. He is a seven-time Super Bowl champion, five-time Super Bowl MVP and three-time NFL MVP, among many other accolades.
In May 2023, Brady and his business partner, Tom Wagner, began pursuing a minority stake in the Raiders. NFL owners officially approved the transaction in October 2024. Brady and Wagner’s group owns 10% of the team, with Brady personally holding 5% ownership.
Brady also serves as Fox Sports’ lead color commentator after signing a 10-year, $375 million deal in May 2022.
Next up for Las Vegas is an away matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday at SoFi Stadium. The Chargers are looking to bounce back after losing 26-14 to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1.
