When people think of Randy Moss, they usually picture highlight-reel catches, defenders getting burned deep and that unmistakable confidence he carried throughout his career. But Moss wasn’t just known for what he did between the lines. He had a flair for moments that stuck with fans long after the final whistle.

Now, years removed from his playing days, the Pro Football Hall of Famer is channeling a piece of that legacy into something new. What started as a phrase tied to one of his most memorable moments remains in the spotlight, now with a business twist that shows Moss still knows how to make headlines off the field.

Randy Moss is proving that his impact on football culture didn’t end when he stopped catching touchdowns. The former superstar wideout has locked down the rights to his signature phrase, “You Got Moss’d,” making it clear he plans to take the iconic line beyond TV screens and into merchandise. With the trademark now secured, the saying can officially be stamped across a wide range of clothing and gear.

The phrase became a staple among fans thanks to Moss’ ability to outjump defenders during his playing days and later through his popular highlight segment on ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown." After building a Hall of Fame résumé over 14 seasons, most memorably with the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots, Moss transitioned into broadcasting and stayed connected to the game. Moss ranks second all-time in receiving touchdowns (156), trailing only Jerry Rice (197), and fourth all-time in receiving yardage (15,292).

Even after stepping away briefly due to a health battle, he returned to television and now appears ready to turn one of his most recognizable football moments into a business move.
