The NFL isn’t wasting time when it comes to making changes to its regular-season schedule.
The original Week 5 schedule had the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers squaring off at 4:25pm ET at Lambeau Field. That iconic NFC North rivalry game has now been moved up to 1 p.m. ET.
Since the Bears-Packers game has been rescheduled, the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks will claim the spotlight at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX. It’ll be the “Game of the Week” for October 11.
There’ll only be two other games in the late afternoon window when the 49ers and Seahawks meet in Week 5. Not only will the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers meet at 4:05 p.m. ET, we’ll get to see the Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals clash at 4:25 p.m. ET.

Why did the Bears-Packers game get flexed out?
For starters, Caleb Williams is expected to miss a few more games due to his hamstring injury. Although the Bears looked dominant in Week 3, it’s tough to sell Case Keenum or Tyson Bagent in a nationally-televised time slot.
It’s also worth noting the Packers have been a disaster this season. They’re coming off a blowout loss at home to the Atlanta Falcons.
The 49ers and Seahawks, meanwhile, have looked like legitimate contenders through the first three weeks of the season. The majority of America will want to watch them square off in Week 5.
