ESPN's Peter Schrager is trying his best to eliminate all spoilers for the 2026 NFL Draft.
While social media has given fans the platform to get live updates on all things NFL, it takes away the excitement of finding out who'll hear their name called by Roger Goodell during the draft. That being said, Schrager is urging fans to put their phones down and just enjoy all the surprises that may go down during the first round on Thursday night.
"Put your phones away on draft day," Schrager said. "This is not the NFL talking to me, this is not ESPN trying to gussy up the ratings here. There is nothing more fun, and there is no greater reality show than the NFL Draft."
We agree with Schrager that it's more fun not having draft picks spoiled, but that message should've been delivered to NFL insiders, not fans watching the draft at home.

Spoilers are already being shared by NFL insiders.
Most fans expect the Las Vegas Raiders to select Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 pick, so it won't be a surprise to hear his name called on Thursday night.
The No. 2 pick is supposed to be somewhat of a mystery, but Tony Pauline is reporting that Texas Tech edge rusher David Bailey is expected to go to the New York Jets.
"Almost everyone from the league that I spoke with on Monday told me that the word is the Jets will use the second pick of the draft on David Bailey," said Pauline.
The 2026 NFL Draft will begin this Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network and ESPN.
