With John Harbaugh reportedly off the board, there are eight NFL teams still in the market for a new head coach.

According to multiple reports, Harbaugh is set to become the next head coach of the New York Giants. Jordan Schultz claims the former Baltimore Ravens coach has received a five-year deal that'll pay him around $100 million. Apparently, he was enamored by the G-Men's rich history as well as their rookie quarterback in Jaxson Dart.

"Draft capital is also important, which will allow Harbaugh the opportunity to add good, young players in much the same way the Ravens did in Baltimore during much of his tenure. The Giants have the fifth pick in this year's draft," ESPN's Jordan Raanan. They don't have a third-round pick (that was used to get Dart) but could replenish with a trade."

The Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans reportedly had interest in Harbaugh. Now, they'll have to go back to the drawing board and determine who'll lead them next fall.

On Thursday afternoon, NFL insider Benjamin Allbright shared his predictions for the rest of this year's coaching carousel.

Here's how Allbright sees things playing out:

  • Arizona Cardinals - Vance Joseph
  • Atlanta Falcons - Klint Kubiak
  • Baltimore Ravens - Jesse Minter
  • Cleveland Browns - Jim Schwartz
  • Las Vegas Raiders - Brian Flores
  • Miami Dolphins - Jeff Hafley
  • Pittsburgh Steelers - Robert Saleh
  • Tennessee Titans - Matt Nagy

Out of all the coaching vacancies remaining, Allbright believes the Browns are the hardest team to read right now.

"This one felt the toughest to me because it has additional moving parts and some of the guys that they’re looking at can’t even put together full staffs," Allbright explained. "I’m gonna go with Schwartz (I know they’d like to retain him as DC if it all possible) but Udinski is my backup guess."

Who is left without a seat?

If Allbright's predictions end up being accurate, former Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski would be the top candidate left on the open market. The two-time Coach of the Year had a 45-56 record during his time in Cleveland.

Former Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel would also have to wait for the 2027 coaching carousel in this scenario. He's reportedly a candidate for several jobs, including the offensive coordinator vacancy for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Last but certainly not least, former Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy is an intriguing option who should receive interest from these eight teams. He's not a lock to get another job though.
