Before the NFL season officially begins, FOX host Charissa Thompson wants to enjoy the last few weeks of summer.
Thompson has been a prominent host for Fox Sports for well over a decade. She hosts "FOX NFL Kickoff" every Sunday morning during the regular season. Additionally, she commands the studio for Amazon Prime Video's "Thursday Night Football" pregame show.
With Week 1 of the season almost here, Thompson shared a handful of vacation photos on Instagram. She received plenty of love from her 590,000 Instagram followers.

"Island Barbie!!!! Looks amazing," FOX sideline reporter Erin Andrews commented.
"First pic is insane," CBS sideline reporter Melanie Collins said.
"The underwater photos turned out amazing," one person wrote.
"The first photo needs to be blown up and framed, it’s gorgeous," another person added.

Towards the end of the 2025 NFL season, Bill Simmons made the argument that Thompson is the best studio host in sports.
“Charissa Thompson is the best studio host. I’m not just saying that because you work with her. I talked to her recently, and I told her that,” Simmons said, via Awful Announcing. “Why is she the best studio host? Because the studio host fundamentally, when they’re doing that job, they win when the show wins. They don’t win when they win. And the hosts that understand that, they win when the people they’re sitting with, that they’re winning, you’re going to win anyway if everyone else is good. She gets that. You’d be amazed how many people don’t get that.”
Thompson, who is under contract with FOX for the 2026 season, will have plenty of chances to impress the NFL world this fall.
