NFL fans are warning their favorite teams: Stay away from Arch Manning in 2027.
While Manning has the name recognition and the NFL Draft hype, most believe that he is far from a true top-tier player. Manning helped lead Texas to a 20-17 win over Tennessee on Saturday. However, he didn’t look very good in the win. Manning completed 14 of 19 passes for 201 yards, no touchdowns and one interception.
“Arch Manning is the most obvious get a GM fired QB of all time,” one NFL fan warned.
Another added: “Josh Rosen looked better and more NFL ready than Arch.”
“Arch Manning IS NOT an NFL QB, but will be drafted off of his name and get a few coaches fired,” one fan added.

Longtime NFL quarterback Luke McCown seems to agree, too.
“Arch is not a #1 QB.. Not sure he’s in the top 5,” he warned on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday morning.
Arch Manning could return to school in 2027
Arch Manning is far from a lock to enter the 2027 NFL Draft, too. Todd McShay believes that Manning could return for the 2027 season and enter the 2028 NFL Draft instead.
“With the support that he has around him at Texas – his family, etc. – this guy, if he puts it together this year, or maybe next year. No one’s talking about that,” McShay said on the Brandon Walker College Football Show.
“I spent a lot of time with Archie, Cooper. Spent time down in the Thibodaux, La., talking to the Manning family. Like, the 2027 NFL Draft is not, by any stretch, a guarantee that Arch is going to be in it. So that’ll be an interesting storyline.”
Based on how Arch Manning has played so far this season, that could be the right move for the Texas Longhorns quarterback.
But there’s still a lot of football to be played this fall.
