It's nearly halftime at Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara, California.

The New England Patriots are trailing the Seattle Seahawks in a defensive-first game so far. It's Seattle 6, Patriots 0 with 2:00 to play in the second quarter. But while there's been some strong defense so far, there has not been a lot of excitement.

In fact, it's been rather boring.

NFL fans are sounding off on the "boring" Super Bowl 60 game on social media on Sunday evening.

Fans sound off on 'boring' Super Bowl

"This Super Bowl has been more boring than an average Premier League game," one fan wrote.

"This game is genuinely super boring. It just feels like another game. No aura," another fan added.

"This game is boring as heck and these commercials are 👎🏼," one fan added.

"That first quarter was a Super Bore. Maybe it will pick up, but this game just lacks star power. No big personalties on the field or the sidelines. No QB trying to build a legacy. Not a whole lot to truly grab interest," one fan added.

"50,000 focus grouped lame commercials, a boring game and Bad Bunny. The Super Bowl has lost its luster," one fan added.

"My mom just told the game’s boring. She’s now onto random cappochino reels on Instagram," one fan added.
