After months of speculation, Travis Kelce isn't going anywhere.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Chiefs' all-time leader in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and receptions is staying put and returning to Kansas City for a 14th season.
Some had wondered if the 36-year-old would retire or test the waters in free agency. But No. 87 is ready to run it back with the only team he's ever known in 2026.

Travis Kelce coming back to Chiefs next season
Per RapSheet: "Chiefs future Hall of Fame TE Travis Kelce is expected to return to Kansas City for a 14th season, a message that’s been delivered to teams who will want him. At 36, Kelce’s play was at its usual level, landing him in the Pro Bowl. He’s loyal to KC & will stay."
It was hard to ever imagine Kelce playing in anything other than Chiefs Red, and now the Kingdom can rejoice that the all-time great tight end is likely going to finish his career out with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid in Missouri.
Chiefs Kingdom hyped about Travis Kelce news
"The 'in the mix' report was still hilarious lol," a Chiefs fan laughed. "LFG."
"Never a doubt," Arrowhead corner replied.
"As if he’d play for any other team. Was such an absurd insinuation," Daniel Harms commented.
"Travis Kelce would have commanded top dollar in the TE market. But he'd rather stay with the Chiefs, catch passes from Patrick Mahomes, and have a shot at another Super Bowl," Ian Rapoport added.
"Exactly what I’ve been saying!" another fan exclaimed. "Travis Kelce will be back in KC. LFG!!! 🥰"
"he was never goin nowhere 💯"
Kelce's made 11 Pro Bowls, four All-Pro first-teams, and won three Super Bowls as a member of KC — it's only right that he keeps it that way in Year 14.
