In four years, the Vince Lombardi Trophy will be hoisted in Music City with Super Bowl LXIV officially going to Nashville, Tennessee.
On Tuesday, the NFL approved Nashville's bid to host the Super Bowl in 2030. It will be the first-ever Super Bowl contested in the state of Tennessee, let alone the city of Nashville.
"Now official: The city of Nashville has been awarded Super Bowl LXIV, as the Music City will host in February of 2030. The NFL’s owners have just approved it," NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported.
Fans get giddy
While Nashville may not be perfect, the city has shown an incredible ability to roll out the red carpet for fans, especially given the wild success that their NFL Draft was several years ago. Some are already making suggestions for who the halftime performers should be.
"This is awesome. The draft CRUSHED there. Super Bowl will be even better," one user on X declared.
"Nashville getting Super Bowl 2030 is genuinely exciting because no city in America has that kind of energy and culture built in before the game even starts. Music City hosting the biggest night in football is a natural fit, and 2030 can not come fast enough," another user wrote.
"Chris Stapleton or Morgan Wallen for halftime," a third begged.
"Taylor Swift halftime show. Mark it down," a fourth predicted.

Nashville has been developing a new, domed stadium which is slated to open next year. And while the city may rank among the smaller NFL markets in the country, its iconic Broadway ranks among the top tourist destinations in the country.
As many fans have noted online, it seemed inevitable that Nashville would finally get a chance to host the Super Bowl.
